Find Lost Phone helps you locate and protect a device you own. We designed it to keep data on your device by default and to use the cloud only for features that require it.
This policy describes how the Find Lost Phone app handles information. It applies to the app published under Device Protection Suite.
Depending on the features you use, the app may handle:
Free users operate offline-first: core protection runs on the device without an account.
The app may show ads delivered through Google AdMob, with additional ad networks served via mediation. Advertising partners may use device and advertising identifiers to deliver and measure ads. Where required, the app presents a consent prompt (via Google's User Messaging Platform) so you can make a choice before personalized ads are shown.
Paid users can enable encrypted cloud sync backed by Google Firebase. Synced data is tied to your account and used only to provide the sync feature. You can request deletion of your account and synced data at any time through the data deletion page.
We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only with the service providers needed to run the app's features (for example, Google Firebase for hosting and authentication, and advertising partners where ads are shown), and only to the extent each feature requires.
This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "last updated" date.
