AI Image Converter — Privacy Policy

AI Image Converter is an on-device image toolkit. It is built to process your images locally.

This policy describes how the AI Image Converter app handles information. It applies to the app published under Siridana Nebula innovation portfolio.

Information the app handles

Images you convert, compress, scan or run OCR on are processed on your device. The app accesses only the images you select and uses storage permissions to read and save files you choose. We do not upload your images to run these tools.

Advertising

The app may show ads via Google AdMob, which may use advertising identifiers. Where required, a consent prompt is shown before personalized ads.

Account & cloud data

The app does not require an account. No image content is associated with an identity on our servers.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only with the service providers needed to run the app's features (for example, Google Firebase for hosting and authentication, and advertising partners where ads are shown), and only to the extent each feature requires.

Your choices & rights

  • You can revoke app permissions at any time in Android Settings → Apps.
  • You can reset your advertising identifier in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.
  • You can request deletion of any account or synced data — see Delete data.

Children

This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "last updated" date.

AI Image Converter — Privacy Policy

This policy explains how AI Image Converter handles images, documents, OCR text, files, diagnostics and advertising data.

1. Overview

AI Image Converter is an image conversion, compression, document scanning, OCR and media utility app. The app helps users convert images, reduce file size, scan documents, clean images, extract text, create PDF files, remove backgrounds where supported, and manage image/document outputs.

The app is designed to process user-selected images and documents on the device where possible. Files are not sold. Images, recordings, scans or documents are not uploaded to Siridana Nebula Systems servers unless a future feature clearly asks the user to upload or share them.

2. Information and permissions the app may use

  • Photos, images, documents and media files: used only when the user selects, imports, scans, converts, compresses, edits, shares or exports files.
  • Camera: used when the user chooses scan/capture features for documents or images.
  • Storage / media access: used to open, save, preview, rename, delete, export or share converted files and PDFs.
  • OCR text: text extracted from images or documents may be shown in the app and saved/exported by the user.
  • App history and preferences: used to show recent conversions, saved files, selected quality settings and app preferences.
  • Device and diagnostic data: app version, device model, OS version, crash logs and performance data may be used to improve stability.
  • Advertising data: if the app shows ads, advertising identifiers and ad interaction data may be processed by ad partners such as Google AdMob or Meta where integrated.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide app features, including image conversion, compression, scanning, OCR, background tools, PDF creation, file management, quality settings, sharing/export actions, crash fixing, performance improvement, support and advertising where enabled.

4. Local processing and file control

Images, documents, scans, OCR outputs and converted files are normally processed and stored locally on the user's device. Users control which files they import and where they save or share outputs. Deleting files from the app, gallery, file manager or app-specific storage removes them from the device location where they were stored.

If the user shares a file through Android sharing, cloud storage, email, messaging or another destination, that destination app or service processes the shared file according to its own privacy policy.

5. Camera, OCR and document scanning

Camera access is used only when the user opens scan/capture features. OCR features process images selected or captured by the user to extract visible text. Users should avoid scanning or sharing sensitive documents unless they understand where the output will be saved or sent.

6. Advertising and analytics

The free version of the app may show ads. Advertising partners may process data such as advertising ID, device information, approximate region, ad impressions, clicks and diagnostic information to deliver and measure ads. We do not sell user images, documents or OCR text.

Crash reporting or analytics tools may be used to understand crashes, app performance and feature reliability. These tools should not intentionally collect the content of user images or documents.

7. Data sharing

We may share limited information with service providers needed to operate the app, such as Google Play services, Firebase, crash reporting, analytics, advertising, hosting and support tools. We may also disclose information if required by law, safety, fraud prevention or abuse prevention requirements.

8. Data retention and deletion

Converted files, PDFs, scans and OCR outputs remain on the user's device until deleted by the user. App preferences and local history may remain until the user clears app data or uninstalls the app. Diagnostic and advertising data may be retained by service providers for limited periods under their own policies and our app configuration.

9. Children’s privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through support or account channels. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect app-related information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. Users should be careful when selecting, saving and sharing sensitive documents or images.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect app changes, legal requirements or security practices. Updates will be posted on this page.
